The Old Man And The Sea

It didn’t take eighty five days to reel this assignment in, however, plenty of time went into hauling this big fish in. The project required that I take a good book and redesign a new cover for it. I painted a portrait of a fictitious old man with oils on canvas, snapped a photo of it, imported it and super-imposed it on to one of my own original photos of the sea. I added a layer of text on it, utilizing Adobe software (illustrator, photoshop, lightroom) to bring in it shore.
